You have the right to request deletion of your NIEA account and all associated personal data at any time.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1 — In the App
- Open the NIEA app and sign in
- Go to your Profile tab
- Tap Settings
- Scroll to Data & Privacy
- Tap Delete Account and confirm
Option 2 — Email Request
Send an email to us from the address associated with your NIEA account:
Email us@theniea.com
We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation.
What Gets Deleted
- Your profile information (name, photo, bio, location)
- Your account credentials and authentication data
- Your posts, listings, and community contributions
- Your messages and activity history
- Any stored payment or billing information
Data We May Retain
Some data may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:
- Transaction records required for tax or legal compliance (retained for up to 7 years)
- Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you
- Information necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our terms
